WINIW, a pioneer in flame-resistant footwear materials, introduces its Flame-Retardant Faux Suede Leather for Welding Boot Collars¡ªa heat-resistant material designed to protect welders from sparks and molten metal. Welding boot collars are the first line of defense against flying sparks, spatter, and heat, which are constant hazards in welding, metal fabrication, and foundry work. Conventional boot collar materials often lack flame resistance, putting workers at risk of burns and fabric ignition. This flame-retardant faux suede leather addresses these risks with a proprietary fire-resistant coating that meets EN ISO 20345 flame-retardant standards, self-extinguishing within 2 seconds of ignition. Crafted with a dense suede surface and a heat-stabilized core, it resists heat up to 500¡ãC (932¡ãF), preventing damage from molten metal spatter and sparks. Unlike rigid flame-resistant materials, this faux suede is soft and flexible, providing a comfortable, chafe-free fit around the ankle during long welding shifts. It is also water-resistant and abrasion-resistant, withstanding the harsh conditions of welding workshops. The material is compatible with all welding boot manufacturing processes, including stitching and lamination, and it can be customized with reflective strips for added visibility. Available in black and dark gray, it hides sparks marks and dirt, making it the perfect choice for manufacturers producing welding boots for professional metalworkers.
